it is here, go look at Props website now !!!!!!!!!
So this discover thing and take are only going to cost like one dollar? I think I might have lost that optimistic outlook. Discover is free. Take (iOS app) is free. Figure (iOS app) costs one dollar in the app store. Clearly the income generator is still Reason, and having it really becomes inte...

I used to identify with props and the products but I am the furthest thing from a guitar carrying pseudo hipster wearing sunglasses and a large set of headphones holding his iphone. This new direction says absolutely nothing to me. I'm out, will still keep 7.1 but not buying any more products and w...

I'm going to take an optimistic stance here and hope that Props have made the right decision, a decision that's going to bring them loads of money - money that can be poured in to Reason. I thought this would have happened with Rack Extensions and the fortunes many of us spent, but yeah... It is rea...

Here is a little clarification about not labeling devices: As I said, I do label my mixer channels. From here I can select 'SEQ / RACK' to take me right to that channel, and find my device in a few seconds: http://files.websitetoolbox.com/177147/2188244 ^^^ In the rack I have the 'SEQ / MIX' opti...

lol @ Karma.
There is a really cool emphasis on analogue for synthesizers from what I have seen so far which is great.
So when is Props supposed to be announcing something?

All devices must be in a Combinator with it's own colored skin for a better overview, even if it's just a single device without any routings to Combinator's programmable knobs. Especially for these purposes i made my own Combinator skins with all of the Reason's track an clip colors. I bet you labe...

Maybe they are going to announce something that sucks and it would have had the forum up in arms again and they decided to kick it just before the sh*tstorm.
Actually I think maybe it will be really boring and they will just announce that Reason 8 share thingy that we already know about.

Yeah this works brilliantly, Emian posted about this on PUF a while back and I been experimenting with it since. I find Euclid inspires me to experiment. I see you have the awesome Steerpike in your list there. Using this 'Euclid-Auto Theory' method, you can throw Steerpike in the mix as it has the ...

Hang on, by talking on this forum doesn't that mean that we are back in the kitchen instead of out in the street? D: Obviously not! The kitchen is where Pheads cook up their potions of public pretentiousness, and their antidotes against agressive antagonism. Everything else is in the streets. Like ...

Killing the forum is killing Reason as we know it
Hey Phasys good to see you again. Are you still using Reason? I got the same notion from the drag and drop feature - that Reason was becoming a platform for noobs without a view of going deep, which was really sad to see. The biggest issue of the forum going is the new user issues, where does a new ...

-Everything is labeled & color coded, in specific order. I hope you don't mean every device in your rack! Color coding and ordering I can see but please don't label everything if it's not necessary, I see this sometimes on youtube and it kills me to see people stopping to type out labels when they ...

New to using VSTs in Reason - a few questions.
I always recommend Rewire (just a stereo mix, not individual channels) over this method as it doesn't have latency and audio routing issues and is a supported method. But If you absolutely want/need to use Reason's sequencer with VSTs then here's a tutorial I made a while back with using The EMI to...

hello, Noel posted a 'tutorial' thread here at ReasonTalk describing the ways to implement the external midi instrument with audio the thread is at the bottom of the tutorial page also: i believe this wdm asio link driver will also do the trick working in conjunction with asio4all driver: http://od...

Really cool idea for a thread, got some laughs out of it so I will share too. One thing I absolutely must have is an audio splitter in its own rack on the very left, and again on the very right of the rack. Whatever device I am working on I position its rack to the center of the screen and I can't d...

The only complicated thing is getting their audio back into Reason. Thanks for the input Normen. Yeah I hit a stump with getting the audio back in to Reason - so I'm recording in Audacity and dumping to Reason, at least this way it runs through my analogue mixer before getting to Audacity, but it's...

How easy would it be to quickly record it in Live then just drag it into your R8 project instead of messing with Rewire. I like working in Reasons sequencer better I don't want to work in Live and use Reason in Rewire, hopefully they update this in R8.5 or R9 Yeah another thing is I really like wor...

What is Propellerhead trying to say to us?
It's simply money. Therefore they have to expand, doesn't compute ? I don't share this concern at all. AND let's pretend they mess up totally with the future of Reason, ...well i don't have to keep uptodate, right ? i treat the Reason rack like a hardware studio. So i really don't worry "too" much....

While the purple didn't bother me, the black is much easier on the eyes.
+1 for a competition, that's a great way to get users interested by seeing some examples of how it can be used, and limited only by our imaginations, top idea.
