I have five different compressors and i use them all for different applications. My FET i use for synths and vocals while i will use my DCAM Compressor for bass and drums. I dont have the vst's you have but i do have 4 dyne and its awesome and very easy to use. I bought it a long time ago without even knowing how to use it and just tinkered with it off and on until I had the transparency working just right but you could hear a difference. Watched the videos on it too. 

I noticed the same thing too. I took a loop from a track that i was working on and created a rex loop. I ran that rex loop through the GSX to get some fun out of it and it sounded so bad i had to run a whole new chain of effects over that loop which i actually stretched out for 16 bars.

To anybody that can help me. I have an imac and i gave in to updating to 8.1. I for the love of Drew Barrymore cant figure out how to install the update. I dont remember having these any problems going from 6.5 to 8.0. Please help but you cant have Drew Barrymore. 

Has anyone here tried the snakebite since the update????? I tried it before and noticed that the unison worked poorly and now in the update it was supposedly fixed. Thats the reason i didnt buy it. 

I actually just added Selig and subscribed to Phi back in the day. Phi does a really good job with his video on the tube and Selig as little as you have it is still very useful. I am logged in but i cant check my account. I didnt do a try for a rack extension and it worked fine but i still cant get into my account. Looking to buy a rack extension but i wont until this issue is fixed. If i pay for it and nothing shows up then i will be really upset. 

I found if you use the Nano Sampler to load your sounds into kong you can use the gate effect that comes with it. Its the little button at the bottom in the Nano Sample with the slope/hat looking icons. I use it all the time to cut 808 bass drums that sustain too long. Its not like cutting the decay...
