Can I record automation to several instruments at once?
Ok, so I' mapped volume 0 and 127 for three instruments to an on/off button on my midi controller (via automation override), so they each have their own button. This works in playback just fine. But even though I have record enabled all three tracks, only automation for the instrument i have selecte...

The IR thread
Sorry if I come across as a noob when asking how I can check what RV7000 has become now in 8.3, if I load op a song I have made in an earlier version and the RV unit on some tracks. Is there any tutorial or documentation on the MKii version anywhere that I just have missed? Thanks guys!

8.3 update
UPDATE: Found it - it's going on AFTER the login screen... inside the DAW, top of the screen. My bad - downloading!
-------------
Weird, I'm not getting any 8.3 available info when I fire up my 8.2
Are you in The States?

Should perhaps have created a new topic, but just wondering if any of you have had any performance gain in Reason after going from Win8 to Win10?

OK so 80 - yes eighty - of the FRG 4RE compressors in a new track from the default template, using the above pc setup, playing a rex loop with about 10 knobs automated to space, takes the DSP meter to about 75%, no more than that.
I think I would categorize this RE as LIGHT LOAD

It's Trap / Dn B style fusion - I admit that 88 is probably a personal record too haha
let me just get names and count of the REs, brb - yeah , knowing which ones are hogs would definitely help, I think this would have been nice to know up front lol

Slight progression here on my own, turns out shutting down Chrome with a stack of tabs gave a small boost and less crackle/stutter and red DSP meter in Reason, which I can only point to RAM. I mean what else could it be.. So I'm thinking now that my 8GB of RAM is just too puny... at least it could b...

@Selig - woops, not 88 different REs LOL ... but 88 RE items. a lot of duplicates of course. Yeah so the song is actually ready to be arranged, everything sounds like it should, per instrument. So in that sense I am done trying to prepare for arrangement, which is how I just have come to do it with...

@jfrichards (thanks for this) - to answer: How many individual reverbs do you have in use at the same time? I must admit I love to add individual reverb on practically all instruments, mainly the little red one from Propellerhead actually. Thig is I started at Reas on 3 there was of course no SSL m...

And also tried this whole list, even if it's a little old http://music.tutsplus.com/tutorials/10-ways-to-enhance-performance-in-propellerheads-reason--audio-1075 No real payoff from those, although I must say that SHIFT+CTRL+ALT when clicking maximize, minimize racks/instruments is handy for opening...
