Re: Announcing Reason 13
you see boring and I see possibilities. My polybrute can morph from one patch to another. But it cost me 2500 dollars and it only has 6 voices(I do love it). Does Uhe make a synth that can morph between patches? plus the modular nature of Reason opens up so many more possibilities. I understand not...

Re: Does anyone actually benefit from instrument tags?
I'm a software engineer, have been for the last 40 years, that's where I get my insights :puf_wink: No functionality in the UI of the application to edit/add existing tags and categories means they are 'hard-coded', no matter how that is actually implemented. If they put a fixed set of tags in a da...

Re: Does anyone actually benefit from instrument tags?
Not a bad design, but a starting point IMO. It is a bad design, because if you are designing a tagging system, the first thing should be 'how do we manage the tags and categories'. Starting from a set of hard-coded tags and categories is basically starting backwards. I still hope that they get this...

Re: Does anyone actually benefit from instrument tags?
.... But now it seems to be a half assed implementation that let Reason studios tag their presets as they want, but not let me tag my presets the way I want. From a UX perspective, this is really bad design, and I really don't understand what they were thinking.... Not a bad design, but a starting ...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Nope. The plugins/devices browser no longer has a favorites option. This has been discussed here at length. Yes, this is basically unchanged. As stated (and visible in the available videos), the only thing that changed with the three panes is that the dividers are much smaller, and they don't have ...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Another browser question because there seems to be a lot of confusion; The R11 browser allows me to navigate my internal and external drives much like file manager, so I can locate and load VSTs and samples directly off my SSD drive or wherever. I have a bunch of locations set up in the R11 browser...

I like tags. Helps me to quickly find the sound I am looking for without trying 1000 sounds before I find the right one.

And such feature request polls were tried quite a lot in the past, even on other platforms. I would say without much success and they are going to sleep within 1-2 weeks.

Re: Announcing Reason 13
1 I get why they introduced the floating browser for more features, but it's not making things faster. It's great for all the extra stuff, but not for quick workflow in the rack. They kinda messed up something that, even though outdated, worked really well, in my experience at least. If you were or...

Re: Synapse Audio The Legend HZ has arrived.
Curious if the filter bank can be automated, especially later in the RE version? Sadly everything on the back of a RE must not be automatically says RS. So all backside FX cannot be automated or mapped in a Combinator. Yet. Oh, I had no idea that's a thing. That doesn't make a lot of sense after th...

Just a reminder... Screenshot 2024-05-15 131549.jpg yep, that's what I mean, and I already got the free Pump, that's a quick fix, but I think Sidechain ReAction Enveloper lets you draw the curve and then we can even add more ducks on a one bar measure if you know what I mean :D Got it. TBH, i mostl...

the Sidechain ReAction Enveloper is also on sale now, its old but I think it rarely is on sale , but then Reason also announced their new sidechain tool which might do the same thing? I might also like to get Antares Auto-Tune for Reason, but that is not on sale while products on the Anta...

Wow...bad to hear that and this clearly leaves no confidence in any new products and some companies. Glad, i still have the same old Evolution MIDI controler, which still works after >20 years. No dirt, not dust, nothing can hold this thing up on continiouing its work and on top it was damn cheap ba...
