What do you think is this Rack Extension in the Reason studios video of today?
I guess it's the RE effect, which is on the new roadmap. Maybe an Tape Echo?

Thor doesn’t have a unison effect that can be used on the audio in. Only on its own multi osc. I also don't really like the stock half rack unison that much. You won't get a huge sound out of it. You can however stack synths in a combinator. I’ve seen this done with Thor and Subtractor in the past....

I would say, that the saw in Europa comes closest. Or you could use the serum wavetable in Europa.

Good suggestion. In addition to this it would be great if it would be possible to open a vst with a keyboard shortcut for the selected sequencer lane.

Thanks for the hint, just bought the Reason 12 update in the JJR shop. The code reduced the price from 129 usd to 115 usd. After the currency conversion to Euro I had to pay only 100 EUR! And this in times of all the upgrade price complaints ;-) After this I‘ll be happy to pay 199 EUR the next time ...

Does Mimic has individual audio outputs for the 8 slots, so you can set up individual mixer channels for each (drum) sample?

The interface from that blurry browser device preview does not look like it's capable of complex multi sample assignment functionality like in NN-XT but rather like their take on serato sample which is basically using a single sample and chopping it up into bits. I don‘t like the half rack devices. I wish RS would change them in full Rack devices during the high definition Update. When they are at it they could change the styl in something modern like the Quartett.

Subtractor looks so nice now! If it would have a High-BW switch after the update I would really considering to use it again.

I can reproduce this problem on my system as well. I'm on windows with Reason 11.3. I always thougt, that some chord midi files were wrong.

This is my new Deep House track.

I've had much fun creating the deep house bass. The patch was created with the Phase Distortion Oscillator in Thor. There is nothing better for deep house basses in my opinion then Thor's FM or PD.

Looks very interesting, but some sounds seem very CPU heavy and sadly it is only available as VST3.
