Re: Gravitational waves detected
Yes! Yes! Yes! They finally made it!!! That's really amazing and great news, indeed! I just read another article about it. And as a positive side effect of this awesome scientific discovery I won 250,- Euros in a bet that I had running with a former colleague of mine. He claimed that gravity has no...

They aren't propagating through anything ... radiation can travel through a vacuum (or they travel through whatever they come across).
I really hope this discovery lifts the veil on the big bang and dark matter Or the lack of it IMO

Re: PSQ-1684 - In the Shop!
I'm looking forward to the video and news from those trying it on what they've used it for. It looks like a great tool to me... But I would like to have more of an idea of its applications. Just hope it's not like having invented the soldering iron 50 years before the introduction of electrics.

Lucky for me... Polysix, monopoly, fm4, tres, ivoks, malstrom, redominator, Viking, snakebite, nautilus, megasaur and at last zero (in process of being blown away by this synth... I want to use every preset)

Re: Can you figure out this behavior in Reason
One advantage of making sure your mix peaks below 0db prior to mastering is that you can take the mastering off and remaster it or someone else can. Any headroom needed can be got by lowering the level. If you've clipped or limited this can't be done without consequences. Can be handy for remasterin...

Re: Your "Go To FX" Sends/Returns for mixing
I do have my 8 sends set up on my template file as I found I used certain reverbs a lot with much the same settings each time. I have two uhbik-A's one room and one hall but don't use the much any more. I have tsar-1 with a studio setting and some high end taken off which I use a lot and a dr-1 with...

Re: Acid Diode Ladder Filter from Primal Audio is in the shop !
Nice aside Giles but if I could bring this topic back to its intended subject. I struggled tonight to get as excited about this one as I did the other two when really trying it out. It seems a bit tame. I tried much cv modulation etc and still felt a bit cold. Then I got a certain synth sound, throu...

Re: The Flat Earth Society
I love the symbolism of the monolith and in particular its 1:4:9 dimensions. Its similarity to a tomb stone didn't leave me either. Just a great and fertile imagination combined with not a little insight. Love the idea of Jupiter as a failed star brought to ignition. I have marathoned 2001 and 10 a ...

Re: The Flat Earth Society
Just in case someone doesn't know. The earth is round because the force of gravity pulls the surface towards the mass centre (centre of the earth) and a sphere gives the least surface area per unit of volume. If an almost flat shape gave the least surface area per unit volume, the earth would be fla...

Re: Acid Diode Ladder Filter from Primal Audio is in the shop !
Got this one tonight which means I have all 3 now. I think they did a really good job with these. It's not that often that someone does something new with REs (apart from the cv wizards such as Lectric panda) but have the cv input knob automatable on the front for these devices was inspired :thumbs_...

I like space stuff too. And increasingly engineering stuff... How it's made etc
Also I increasingly find that at the end of the day I can stare into space and pick my nose for a good 15 minutes and think nothing of it.

Thanks jappe if you mean the flanger like effect on the wide string sound, no that's echobode with some cv input.jappe wrote:Hi Tincture!
Great sounds and a cool feeling in this tune.
1:53: is that a Chenille chorus in action?
Outro was also really great.

For those in 2D anything but flat is impossible. I'm with the 2D society, we're a bit one dimensional but fairly sane compared with those flat earther's.

The Religious will always find some kind of meaning to give substance to their feelings.
It will always be impossible to convince them any other way.
As shall the unconverted be ever so.

You have to mute not only the audio out but also any sequencer lanes or cv putting info into the RE so that it's still not doing calculations from my experience.

It is, I'll never buy it until it is hosted properly (I.e not dropbox) and I feel I can trust the producer to allow me to re-download like the Props shop if my file gets corrupted. Guy seems an amateur at the selling stuff bit.bitley™ wrote:If they give up on the best refill ever made, it's up to them.

It's pretty awful IMO. Plenty of much much better distortion units out there. The Haas stereo widening is nasty imo. Sorry (not sorry) Joey, I disagree.

Maybe its old sleighs from Santa attachedvity to the bottom that continuously accelerate the flat earth to create gravity.. I think we're solving some mysteries here ^^ sorry to be pedantic Normen but it's the gravitational force (F) that creates the acceleration due to gravity (small g) F=Gm1m2/r^...

Create your guitar part then go to the Create Effect... From the drop down create menu... Look in the factory soundbank under All Effects... I think there's a folder called Utilities. Find the 'key...' patch (not the m/s one). Once that's created open the combi by pressing view devices and then repl...

It's a strange beast this. I think I'll mainly use it on kicks and basslines in fairly subtle amounts. I did have fun tho' hooking up some lfos to the cv ins and think some nice creative sounds might come from this on non kbd synth stuff.
