Login Session Duration ?

How long is a login session supposed to last? I'm using chrome and this site seems to forget I'm logged in 3-4 times a day. On my iphone the sessions last for weeks without having to relogin. I've wiped all cookies from this site in an attempt to fix things, but it always seems to keep coming back. I always check "Remember Me"
