I see this as a win! I saw those 4 knobs as pretty limiting to do much with. Not belittling anyone who relied on it but I think we gained more than we lost here.

Gullum, wouldn't mapping again your controller solve the issue?

All automation in previous projects is carried over to the Combinator in the insert, and there is a fix in the works for Remote.

no because the combinator is an other device that in not part of the mixer so if have my controllers locked to the mixer they control only the mixer and master these 4 knobs and buttons were part of the mixer now they are a combinator so to control them I need to unlock my controller from mixer to get it to control the combinator instead. Yes I can and already have a controller that I use for other devices also the 4 knob combinator but I need to lock it every time to a combinator or if I choose it by pressing the blue arrow I'll get a new track in the sequencer for every (Insert) combinator

Reason is here and no more countdown thread needed Especially as there are several other threads to discuss Reason 12 in general, the new combinator, etc.

For issues relating to Remote and mixer insert controls, as was answered in the other thread, a fix is in the works. With that fix, those mappings will find and control the first combinator in the insert FX container.
