I never felt the need to propose reason to anybody.
Isn't a proposal a way to suggest something?

Just suggest him...
Ah, you mean to propose to go have a look-see :puf_bigsmile:

People tend to look for suggestions when they are unsure about something, like choosing a DAW. There's nothing wrong in telling someone why you think that Reason might be a good choice, over other options. Within the boundaries of their musical intentions, experience, etc. obviously :puf_wink:

I also like in Reason that you can select devices in a way that you only have to choose from a finite number of options, I noticed that this also pushes the music-making towards being more fun.

for ex.

I think the best reason to recommend Reason Studios is its forum.
It's dynamic, and you can get your answer quickly and accurately.

Thanks for the forum.

For example, I like Bitwig after Reason the most.
But it doesn't have a professional forum.
I sent an email to their support. They said they have an unofficial forum in Discord.
When I asked my questions there, sometimes maybe after some days I got a response that most of the time was not correct.

IMP, it's just a daw that opens a market for Youtubers nowadays :D :D
The view of their contents is crazy. It is created because of a big lack in the learning process of the daw. ( an official forum with experts )

Furthermore, Reason's manual is much more detailed. When you read it, it adds to your technical music knowledge. Working with racks and wires as well do that. Many years ago, when I was a FL Studio user I had no idea that the position of an effect is important. Thanks to Reason's wires I got that.

I recommended reason to my sister simply because it's what I use. So when she inevitably has questions about how to do this or that, I'll likely know the answer.

It's also super easy to drag an instrument onto the sequencer and just start playing. No need to get into the weeds at all until after you've got your idea down.

And this way we can share project files and work on tracks together more easily.

To my friend: If you want to start using Reason and put aside something you learned for years, I would recommend Reason:

a: when their management stops pissing and patronizing perpetual users who paid them money to get on to the point where they are
b: for onboarding content I would recommend Reason when Reason HQ starts releasing professional video content that has not been made like for kids who are uncovering the flesh of the "reality". As much as I loved the narrator over the years in every f**** video he is making that stupid face and gesture with hands and look that speaks "Look I am reinventing g the wheel and it's just another circle".

Last year I recommended their channel twice and was laughed at the silliness of their videos. Hell even more hyperbolic supposed self-proclaimed YouTube expert Oscar the Underdog who is an armchair YouTube specialist with several degrees signed by himself for himeself - managed to beat all of the Ryan videos with just one video. So you know how bad they are.

That's actually very cool. Keep up the good work and help your sister onboarding and make good music with Reason (I love Reason a lot - spent nearly $4000 dollars for many REs)
