So I just loaded up a redrum into a mix channel and I'm watching the master level knob jitter around by itself. I'm sure this is probably a noob question but is my reason haunted?

Why it do dat?

Did I stumble on some link to some hacker spy messing with his hacker spy audio levels?

Only thing I can think of is, do you have a midi controller plugged in? I had something like that happen when I spilled water on some faders.

I've had this happen on devices as aeox says, a midi controller leaking controller info.

Yeah, my old midi keyboard did this too, that's why I bought a new one to get rid of this problem.

I've had things of this nature (other parameters returning to 0 and stuff) happen when I've had a virus on my computer but it was also midi controller related as well I think, not sure.
