Awesome! Thanks Dave and GForce!
Wonderful video as well
Looks like Re-Tron received a price change to $49 (used to be $99 I think).

New samples added - at least that's what it sounds like to me. Not patches, but actual samples. Pretty nice update! I downloaded the ChamberTron as well to A/B them. I prefer the MelloTron.dhruan wrote: ↑26 Sep 2017Nice!

Fantastic piece of music technology history! This is what Kontakt libraries were in the fifties
Bought it just to make me feel cultured. And it's impossible to resist a soothing British voiceover.

I love Mellotron and Chamberlin sounds, but I wish these were a bit easier on the eyes...

I guess we all have different tastes. I rather like the look and layout of these. Especially when compared to the VST/AU versions.esselfortium wrote: ↑26 Sep 2017I love Mellotron and Chamberlin sounds, but I wish these were a bit easier on the eyes...

This is amazing. I love ReTron, and the samples in the demos and video sound superb. Definite buy for me.
The video, sounds and quick trial made for a definite buy, too. Haven't come across any refill or RE that has been able to cover these kind of sounds without sounding really cheesy.
Relax. Listen to some music.

Just played around with this. It's traded in the "ensemble" feature from ReTron for a spring reverb, which is really unfortunate; that ensemble feature really could make things beautiful and wide. But the sounds are fantastic, the patches are a nice combination of comprehensive stock and creative inspiration, and I imagine I'll be using this often. This is fantastic for $25.
Yeah this thing is gorgeous. Insane value at the current price
The new Re-Tron samples are great too

Got ReTron as part of the Backline Rig bundle and loved it, bought ReStrings at the introductory price just because of the Moog Opus samples (used to use one in the early '80s) and the Ken Freeman connection (invented the detuned oscillator effect, played synths on Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds, wrote the theme to Casualty).
ChamberTron for less than £25? yes please.
