When is that new Selig RE going to drop? I'm really looking forward to seeing what it is about.

I assumed some stuff was already leaked, but no one here has guessed correctly - yet. May as well jump in here and fan the flames a little…
I can say this:
The device is in for approval and from there I need to finish the store page and double-check the user guide. I will release a few videos in the near future, one that takes a slightly over-the-top promotional approach and mentions the key features, plus a few video interviews I did a few months ago speaking to the development process and the concepts behind the device.
The interview style videos will help better explain the new concepts I’m introducing with this device, including things like why this device (unlike others before it) has so many audio jacks! [emoji6]
I can also say this device is based on some of the earliest audio processing principles, but they are combined in a new and unique way that opens up many new possibilities.
Plus, to further speculation, this device also receives notes and CV note/gate data, also unlike others that have come before it! In many ways this is a device that could only really be done well in the Reason domain.
It’s also the biggest device (in all respects) I’ve yet built, and the first to include patches!
Hmmmm…

I guess this is an EQ. I hope with the cv an Note Inputs you are able to move the frequency of the EQ points with the played note progression. Can‘t await the release.
Awwwwwww yeaaaa, I'm guessing a wax cylinder emulation.

Exciting! Something -actually- new and unique? I can't really guess what it is though... "Earliest audio processing principles" Makes me think off the first tape recordings and phonographs or something like that.

It's a Multi-Band Compressor, but not your traditional Multi-Band Compressor. It is done the Selig way.
My guess.
My guess.

I will be the first to admit that I don’t have the brain power to create “intelligent” devices. [emoji6]ravisoni wrote:With the spectrum display, it looks like an intelligent EQ. Actually pretty excited for your stuff, Selig.
My motivation is based on what I call the three “U”s (must be from living in Utah). Unique, Useful, and Understandable. Maybe one day I’ll add “intelligent” to that list, but not any time soon I’m sorry say.

A Multi-band compressor that eliminates the guesswork, ala Selig's Desser and Gain. The included patches make this even easier.
Thanks in advance!
