Chaparral the world
Exocet your freedom
Firebrand the fora
Patriot to the last
Bowled you a semyorka
Grouse about your house
Topoling the state
Patriot to the last
Destroy all the meaning
To our helpless words
Teach me how to lie to yourself
And convincing me I’m wrong
Fade away to cyanide
Drinking all the kool aid
The count who’ll take no quarter
While we are dressed in water
And we are dressed in water
Cool and grey
Wet and dirty
In a pocketful of air
There’s always one
Pyrotechnic rise up
A hellfire of peacekeepers
Where cardinal honest John
Has made his wise decree
His feet scorched on the white sands
Although they tie and cut his hands
Talking to the pointy end
They keep setting fire to his ass
Destroy all the meaning
To our empty words
Teach me how to lie to yourself
And convincing me I’m wrong
Fade away to the cyanide
The Kool Aid stockpile’s all drunk dry
The count who’ll take no quarter
Welp, he don’t drink the water
And we are dressed in water
Cool and grey
Wet and dirty
In a pocketful of air
There’s always one

Very cool song. Creative as hell but still gives a really familiar vibe. Your singing has gotten quite a bit better over the years I think!
I especially love the line "Exocet your freedom". Conjures up memories when I was a kid of endless video of an aircraft carrier sailing inexorably south towards Argentina.

Still nostalgic about the old days, writing songs with my Amiga 500, Korg M1, and Ensoniq ASR-10 sampler.
