I’m on PC. Thanks though.huggermugger wrote: ↑13 Jul 2022On Mac, I just used TextEdit to create an empty txt file. Renamed it, dropped it in place of the real one, which is called "Showcase Reason 10.favo". Not sure why it says 10, as I'm using 11 Suite.
Any way to remove Showcase folder from the Browser?

I know. You said that. But I would think the process is much the same. Text is text.MrFigg wrote: ↑13 Jul 2022I’m on PC. Thanks though.huggermugger wrote: ↑13 Jul 2022

Right, is TextEdit just another generic word processing software?huggermugger wrote: ↑13 Jul 2022I know. You said that. But I would think the process is much the same. Text is text.

Yes, a very basic text editor, though maybe not as basic as Notepad.MrFigg wrote: ↑13 Jul 2022Right, is TextEdit just another generic word processing software?huggermugger wrote: ↑13 Jul 2022

So word or notepad or OpenOffice or any other free txt program will also do the job?huggermugger wrote: ↑13 Jul 2022Yes, a very basic text editor, though maybe not as basic as Notepad.

You don't need any editor, just rename the original file by putting '.old' after it, and then in that same folder right mouse button, choose 'new' and then 'text document', give it the correct name, and you are done. Then go to properties for the newly created file and set it to read-only.
