Reason Rack Plugin is the ONLY reason I have to use Rosetta with my DAW. And RRP is the best and the favorite VST in my production. The difference in performance with and without Rosetta is massive, but I still have to use it. It's that simple.StephenHutchinson wrote: ↑29 Mar 2023I'm just curious what M1 support will bring to Reason that it doesn't already have.
The new Instrument, "Objekt" is coming in May

Ah, I see... that makes perfect sense. It's been awhile since I used RRP in another DAW but I do remember how long it took to load for Logic and Ableton Live... Also,I've noticed the latest Reason 12 update has somehow made the wait time for opening the program super long. I have 6 computers, 3 Macs and 3 Windows... all do the same thing._andreypetr_ wrote: ↑30 Mar 2023Reason Rack Plugin is the ONLY reason I have to use Rosetta with my DAW. Ah I see. Thanks for the information.avasopht wrote: ↑30 Mar 2023There's a few threads going into more detail on this.StephenHutchinson wrote: ↑29 Mar 2023I'm just curious what M1 support will bring to Reason that it doesn't already have.
Maybe it's to do with compatibility with plugins that are M1 only?? Can't remember. It was also performance for a long while until an update a few months ago

Ahahah, that bite caused my internal micro explosion
Get more Combinators at the deeplink website
Nice looks like a sdk update will come, the last things now markers for the sequencer and smpte timecode support for video and most things are than included into R12 out of vst3 midi
and maybee some welcome small workarounds for live and song editing, like a new recording tab autofunction for endless in loop recording for midi and audio, for one track exclusive.

Just one question... how the hell do you mount this in the rack?

Probably the same glue or magnets that hold Audiomatic, BV-X, Synchronous, etc. in place lol

OK, but those are somewhat square so that works, but this thing has no straight sides. Will need something to fill those gaps
Maybe it comes with a 19inch mounting adapter

Ok...This thing models objekts. I am interested.
This is the backside. A bit empty, but this is how RS is doint it today...
Backside talks about Exciters and Impacts to Models and Objekts. Yea, could by some kind of physical modeling, where you have different ways of triggering the physical stuff, aka Objekts and Models.
Oh...wait...is this an Audio Input!? Ok...you have my attention...

Man, that is an ugly color scheme. What matters is how it sounds, of course, and I'm still really excited. But who picked mustard yellow for the interface?
I would love if we had someone like Omri Cohen inside reason community, showing us how to recreate any synth in Reason, including this new one, with the existing Re's we have at our disposal inside Reason.

If it is some kinf of physical modelling synth, this will be a hard task. You have a Karplus Strong in Europa, but this quite all you have.Mataya wrote: ↑03 Apr 2023I would love if we had someone like Omri Cohen inside reason community, showing us how to recreate any synth in Reason, including this new one, with the existing Re's we have at our disposal inside Reason.

You can try your own physical modelling with resonators based on Comb Filtering, but this is also a very hard task.
You can maybe re-create the tone and a bit of every thing of a patch in another synth maybe, but there is a reason why physical modelling is its own category of synths....
